I’ve been tagged by Collean at Orations of OMcHodoy to answer some questions regarding non-fiction books.

What issues/topic interests you most–non-fiction, i.e, cooking, knitting, stitching, there are infinite topics that has nothing to do with novels?

As I sit here on the couch I can see my “Premier Pro 2 Bible” that helps me think outside the box for creating interesting, educational video for work. There is my “Your Guide to Cemetery Research” book that I bought around Christmas time for genealogy research. There is also my newly arrived “Questionnaire Design” book that I need for a special project I am doing at work and a guide to sketching book. My kitchen is full to the brim with cookbooks of every flavor, some of them used so much the binding is now broken and pages are slipping out. The guest bedroom has my selection of garden, art history and genealogy research books. The office was becoming too full of my design software, photography tips and drawing books, so off to my shelf at work they went.

A friend had helped me move from my townhouse to my home several years ago, took one look at my book collection and told me that professional movers charge extra for that many books. I love to read and once I learned how, as a kid, I devoured everything I could get my hands on, right down to the back of the cereal box on the kitchen table.

Would you like to review books concerning those?

Maybe.

Would you like to be paid or do it as interest or hobby? Tell reasons for what ever you choose.

I have never given it much thought.

Would you recommend books you enjoy to your friends and how?

I always recommend good books to friends that have the same interest and have been known to loan my books out.
